Hello Team Robot and Team Princess,

I wanted to let you know that there are two days left on the campaign for my new comic book, DISCIPLE. It's a wrestling/horror comic that has received endorsements from stars in both the comic book world and professional wrestling world.

We're funded but hoping to raise enough money so we can add more pages to the book. If you can help us out, we'd greatly appreciate it.

Jesse’s tag team partner and best friend. Eddie is built like a tank with the endurance to boot. While Jesse elicits the audience's sympathy, Eddie makes them go “kill.” Because while Jesse was being beat up by his opponent he struggled to tag in a fired up, battle hungry, Eddie. And the audience waited in anticipation. Once the tag was made, Eddie came in the ring like a force of nature. With his natural strength, technical ability, and speed, Eddie  immediately turned the tide of a match, allowing him and Jesse to execute the “Rocket’s Red Glare” (Eddie throwing Jesse off the top rope onto a fallen opponent) to win the match.

Before he was a wrestler, Eddie went to West Point and served as a helicopter pilot in Iraq. As a life long wrestling fan, Eddie wanted to break into the business, and  wanted to be the best. He learned about Crusher Christian’s wrestling school and signed up because he knew about Crusher’s reputation as a hard-ass who took pride in making trainees quit. Thanks to his Army training, Crusher’s camp was a breeze until he  wrestled Crusher’s top student, Jesse Sampson for real. The two were evenly matched and had a natural chemistry. They became friends and Crusher paired them as a tag team called “All American Express.” (AAX)

Immediately, AAX was a sensation on the independent circuit. They were a success for two reasons. First, their amateur backgrounds made them believable. Second, Jesse was the fire and Eddie the muscle. Jesse would fire the crowd up with his athleticism and charisma then take a severe beating. Eddie would reach out for a tag (calling out to Jesse, shaking the ropes, and getting angry on the outside) but would always be intercepted. They’d milk this three times or less until Jesse made the tag and Eddie would decimate the other team with this power. When  they engaged the Latin American Machines, (LAM),  the teams became the hottest feud on the independents, gaining the attention of the Championship Wrestling Council’s (CWC) developmental league, Generation Wrestling (GEN-W).

They imported the feud and instigated a revival of tag team wrestling. Then real life came into play. Eddie fell for LAM’s manager Rosa Guerrerro. Both teams agreed incorporating the relationship into the feud would make their matches more exciting. GEN-W agreed and subscriptions to the CWC’s streaming network soared along with ticket sales in big cities across the country. Then tragedy struck. A car accident ended Rosa’s brother Logan’s wrestling career, thus ending the AAX/LAM feud. AAX continued with Rosa as their manager until Eddie and Rosa were called up to the main roster.

Eddie and Jesse are more than best friends, they’re tag team partners. They ride together, hang out together, and have slept over each other’s parents' houses. Eddie sees Jesse as the brother he never had
